SoftNet won another award in Technological Competition for vBanking system

vBanking, the latest IT system created by our company, won a "Recommendation" award in the Banking category in the Technology Contest

vBanking, or virtual bank, is the first product of its kind in the cooperative bank sector, which allows the customer to process requests for access to electronic banking without having to visit a branch office of the cooperative bank. The competition jury consisting of IT, banking, and finance experts awarded our company for the vBanking system innovation, which makes it simple and intuitive to use even for a novice user. All the formalities can be done online without leaving home, which in this day and age is extremely important for banks and their customers. The competition was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology, and the National Centre for Research and Development. The award ceremony took place on 22 June 2021 in Warsaw. The award was received by Andrzej Data, President of the Management Board of SoftNet.

"I am very pleased that our newest system vBanking has been recommended by Gazeta Bankowa. While designing vBanking we wanted to show that a cooperative bank is now a modern and innovative institution, open to changes, offering top-class IT solutions to its customers. The award is a great honour for me and the whole SoftNet team and a confirmation of the high quality of our IT solutions by the Chapter of the Gazeta Bankowa competition". - said Andrzej Data, President of the Management Board of SoftNet.

vBanking is modern banking that bridges the gap between traditional bank branches and online banking. For the user, the system is always available online, offering products and services tailored to his personal needs. Thanks to vBanking software, a potential bank customer, for example, in order to open an account, only fills out an online form and his data such as phone number, address or identity document are verified already during their input in the application. At the same time, all customer data is carefully secured in accordance with the high standards applicable in the banking sector. The vBanking solution is convenient in that it does not require direct contact between the customer and bank employee, and in times of pandemics, this is highly desirable. The application can be submitted via a web browser, which saves time. Implementation of vBanking, i.e. remote handling of electronic applications, is an easy way for each cooperative bank to acquire a new client without forcing him to visit a bank branch.
